Tagged Yet Again

Seriously, Jaime over at Just Add Laughter needs to find some new friends to tag her - everytime she's tagged me it's been for the same thing!! ;)
Someone needs to decide to pick a different number besides 4 for these! I rearranged my folders on purpose so you all wouldn't be subjected to the same photo again!
Here are the rules:
1. Go to where you store your digital photo folders & open the 4th folder.
2. Go to the 4th picture and post it.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag an additional 4 people.



This is a (not very good) picture of my friend Dani's wedding bouquet. She got married last September and I was trying to take pictures of stuff that most people miss at a wedding. I always look at my wedding pictures and think "awww nobody got a picture of..." So I thought I'd be that photographer that gets the weird stuff! I know I'm weird that way!

OK So pay attention people - I'm tagging ANYONE who reads my poor little sad blog (this means you too Jaime) - and I want you all to post the SECOND picture from your THIRD album!! HA! Didja see that - I changed it myself!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH THE POWER! *cough* Oh, sorry got a little carried away there!

Artsy Fartsy

So I thought I'd try to get all artsy fartsy like my best bud over at Monkey Memories. I'm not sure I really like these so much just because it shows off how I didn't get cleansy weansy BEFORE I decided to get artsy fartsy! (Incidentally I didn't do anything with these in Photoshop or anything - this is how they came out - from my CELL PHONE!)

"Happy Inauguration" presents for the kids!!!

While Christmas shopping a month or so ago, Daddy and I had bought these super cute new bathtub toys for the kids. With Little Dude's eczema, he has to take baths a little more often than most kids. Well because of this, his tub toys have a tendency to get icky a little quicker too (which is also why we refuse to by the totally fun looking expensive ones)! Well their last set of tub toys was looking a little frightening so we got them new ones for Christmas.
On Christmas morning, about an hour after we were done opening gifts and getting ready to go to Grandma's house, Daddy looked at me and said, "Didn't we by them new tub toys?"
Ummmmmm....yes...yes we did...
I had totally forgotten about them when I was wrapping everything & couldn't find them anywhere!
Well, last week I was unloading groceries from the trunk of the car and lo and behold - the tub toys were still in there!!
So Bug and Little Dude got "Happy Inauguration" tub toys this year!!!

I'm So Proud Today

As I watch the inauguration of Barack Obama I can't help these bouts of the chills I keep getting! No I'm not sick, its all of this new history that's unfolding right in front of me.
I teared up watching his 2 adorable little girls walk down that long hallway with huge smiles on their faces. The older girl carrying a camera as if she was a mere spectator and not the daughter of the man who is about to lead our country! Those little girls will grow up in the same future my 2 adorable children will. I'm so hopeful that this is the start of a GOOD future for them and all of us.
I cried when he took the oath of office. I'm not sure why exactly. It's history making for sure. Maybe because I am hopeful for change. Maybe it's just because its the first time I've seen an inauguration and actually understood what it meant and that I had a part in it for the first time!
With that being said - I am so proud of my country right now. Sure there may be hard times ahead but right now in this moment - I am proud of us!

I'm totally saving this for her boyfriends...

I'm supposed to show you the 4th picture in my 4th album/folder.
I'm not sure I did this right because when I pull it up in my pictures folder it's in a different order than when blogger pulls it up so I went with what blogger told me was the 4th folder!! :O)



This isn't a very good picture because it was taken with my old cell phone, but it's a picture of Bug from February, 2007. I had bought her this cute Valentine's onesie because my mom was making a calendar with a picture of Bug for every month of the year!
